Rockdale County Probate Court

Rockdale County Marriage License Requirements

Both applicants must appear in person. Each person needs a valid photo ID. A driver's license, state ID, passport, or military ID will work. Birth certificates are also acceptable as proof of age.

If you were married before, bring a certified copy of the final divorce decree, annulment, or death certificate. The court needs to verify that no prior marriage is still in effect before issuing a new license.

There is no blood test in Georgia. No waiting period. No residency requirement for Georgia residents. The license is issued the same day and does not expire. Non-residents must apply in the county where the ceremony takes place.

After the Ceremony
