Duluth Marriage License Requirements

If either person was married before, bring a certified copy of the final divorce decree, annulment order, or death certificate. The court will not issue a license without this document. Georgia eliminated the blood test requirement on July 1, 2003. No medical exam is needed.

Georgia residents can apply at any county probate court. Non-residents must apply in the county where the wedding takes place. There is no waiting period, and the license does not expire.

Duluth Marriage License Fees

Gwinnett County charges $56 for a standard marriage license. One certified copy of the marriage certificate is included. It gets mailed to you after the license is recorded.

Couples who complete a qualifying premarital education course pay only $16. The course must be at least six hours and done within 12 months of applying.
